Nothing Is Impossible When You Believe, Meet Jishan Ali Who Cleared His SSB after 3 Failed Attempts

Jishan Ali has completed his B.Tech In Electronics & Communication Engineering in 2016 & hails from Jaipur, Rajasthan. He has got recommended for SSC(Tech)-48 Course from 24 SSB Bangalore & would soon be joining OTA, Chennai.
Here’s his story in his own words, how he aspired to join the Indian Army & his journey to the success.

“I was an average student who was equally good in sports and academics & a good score in 10th class had raised the hope of my parents and as a result I opted for PCM Β stream & started preparing for JEE(IIT) but as an Army BRAT, I always wanted to join the armed forces, so I was not able to maintain the balance between the two and in result I scored less in 10+2 and even JEE was far out of my reach. Unfortunately, I met with a serious accident and was hospitalized for 2 months. I had lost all my hopes and even the trust of my parents but because of my request they allowed me to pursue engineering. Now I was very clear of what I wanted & what to do with my life to bring back all the love, trust and pride which I had lost & will help me to become role model of many. So, I worked hard, cleared my engineering with honors degree and was able to get two college placement with a handsome package, but that is not what I wanted.

I was called for SSB Interview for UES entry and got conference out, then Tech-47 entry and I got conference out again. Then, the time came when I got my joining letter from the company and now I had to decide, after talking with my parents, I wrote an apology letter to the HR telling him that I won’t be able to join the company. I took a whole day, thinking of what I want and how much time I have to devote & the amount of hardwork required, to achieve it. I gave myself one year and started working hard from the very next day, I worked day in & day out and prepared every thing in which I was lacking. I took help from friends who had already made it through. Now was the time for my next SSB & I was fully prepared but this time it became more worse because I got screened out but I didn’t let the hope and dedication to fall.

A month later, I got call up letter for my next SSB in Bangalore, for SSC TECH-48 & this time I didn’t make a single mistake. I gave my best and I got recommended & tears were falling out of my eyes after the Psychologist broke the news of my recommendation. This was the time! I had achieved what I always dreamt of and now I have made my parents proud.”
